WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?
Reflexology is based on scientific principles that there are reflex points in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to organs, glands and other parts of the body. When these points are reflexed using techniques such as ”thumb walking” and other methods you will experience total relaxation throughout your entire being.
Reflexology can be traced back to around 2500 BC. The Egyptians, the Indians, the Chinese, and even African tribes people widely used points of the feet in health and healing. We humans have always enjoyed having our feet worked on because it makes us feel so good all over, and gives us a sense of well-being.

Who Should not receive Reflexology?
Women in their first trimester of pregnancy generally should not receive reflexology. Some people with degenerative conditions such as diabetes, people with urinary system problems and sometimes the elderly should not be overworked, but would still benefit from an extra gentle pressure to the reflex points, and shorter sessions.
When in doubt, or anyone with health issues should talk to their doctor before receiving Reflexology.
